Alyssa Rameriz, ED, Lincoln Co. Library

Alyssa Rameriz serves as the Executive Director of the Lincoln County Library, and as the Treasurer for the Libby Chamber. She is an inspirational figure, and a catalyst in engaging others and increasing citizen participation in community events and organizations.

Matt & Amber Skranak – Managhan’s Furniture, Libby Auto Sales

Matt and Amber are one of Libby’s most generous businesses. Managhan’s led the recent refurbishing of around 100 city Christmas ornaments that adorn about 12 blocks of Libby’s main street to celebrate the holidays.

Ron Goodman – Superintendent of Libby Public Schools

Ron is a highly regarded member of the Libby community, having served in the Libby school district for 16 years. He accepted the position of Superintendent in March of 2020, and worked tirelessly in connecting with and guiding the Libby educators, students, parents and staff through the many difficulties they faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ryan Andreessen – Libby

Ryan had been instrumental in the rodeo committee that founded and oversees the annual PRCA rodeo, Kootenai River Stampede (July 30-31), now in it’s 18th year. He’s been with the Libby Volunteer Fire Dept. for 20 years, recently promoted to Fire Chief 3, and has been committed to the department and its members. They added several fire stations (now totaling 4) during his career.

Tammy Brown – Libby

Tammy is responsible for an incredible fundraiser called “Christmas for Kids.” Each year, Tammy coordinates and collects several gifts for local children and brings a variety of community members and organizations together to wrap and deliver those gifts to local children in need. Tammy was the recipient of the 2020 Volunteer of the Year award by the Libby Chamber.

Taylor Salmi – Hope for Harlee Foundation, Hot Springs

After and aggressive brain tumor took the life of her 6 year old daughter, Taylor started the Hope for Harlee Foundation.  The foundation built a playground for the Hot Spring community, sponsors a college scholarship and provides financial support to families who suffer through similar medical crises.  Additionally the organization helps fund childhood cancer research as well.  Taylor is turning a tragedy for her family into a blessing for many others.

Captain Vince Backen – Libby 

Vince, a Merchant Marine, has refurbished and repurposed numerous old buildings to improve the viability and appearance of Libby’s commercial areas. He created the Libby Hostel and a bunkhouse for tourists and seasonal firefighters. He also has a gym, bookstore, and speakeasy. Vince is a “doer” who aims to help Libby in any way he can.
