Staff from the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education presented an update on the central application and the Apply Montana portal Friday during a joint session of the Board of Regents and the Legislature’s Education Interim Committee. The Montana University System saw 39% in increased applications in the first year of its central application which is free to state residents and has saved Montana families more than $500,000 with the waived fee.
