ARPA Commission Recommends Schools Have Access To COVID Tests

In the recent legislative session, lawmakers voted to broadly advocate funds from the roughly $2 billion Montana received from the federal American Rescue Plan Act earlier this year and create a group of commissions to review specific proposals and forward them to Governor Greg Gianforte who has final spending approval. Monday, the health commission recommended funding for Montana schools to have access to $14.4 million to help screen and test students and staff for COVID-19.
