Montana Housing has announced more than $10 million in rent and utility assistance has been paid to Montanans who have experienced financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic and were at risk of housing instability. The federally funded program has already released more money in 3 months than was distributed in 8 months in 2020. The funds are provided by the Montana Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
