Sierra Club’s Mike Scott Comments On Northwestern Energy Should Do Study Of Costs Of Renewables For Procurement Plan

The Public Service Commission is holding a hearing today on Northwestern Energy’s Resource Procurement Plan. Mike Scott with The Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign in Montana says the utility hasn’t done a comprehensive study of the cost of renewable and he believes the economics of solar and wind look more favorable than either coal or natural gas.
