A jury ordered 17 white nationalist leaders including Richard Spencer of Kalispell and organizations to pay more than $26 million in damages Tuesday over the violence that erupted during the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville North Carolina in 2017. Spencer the founder and publisher of the neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer vowed to appeal the ruling.
