Montanans are divided along political lines according a poll released Tuesday by Montana State University Billings. A majority of respondents disapproved of President Joe Biden with just 27% saying they approved of his job performance so far. Only 5% of Montanans currently approve of Congress. The 34th Mountain States Poll came on the same day that municipalities across the state were tallying Election Day ballots. Political science students at MSUB conducted the poll from October 11th through the 22nd making more than 6,000 phone calls and drawing from a pool of randomly selected phone numbers. They received 204 valid responses and the poll had a margin of error of 6.8%.
