Gallatin County Commissioner Supports Water Protection Act

The Montana Headwaters Legacy Act introduced by Senator Jon Tester would protect 385 miles of river in the state as Wild and Scenic nearly doubling the total number now. Gallatin County Commissioner Scott MacFarlane says protections are important because people understand they’re stewards of a resource that passes through state after state on its way to the Gulf of Mexico.
