The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced today that $500,000 in supplemental funding will be going to the Snowy Mountain Development Corporation to clean up and redevelop contaminated brownfield properties in central Montana. The investment is meant to address environmental justice issues in underserved communities It is one of 27 awardees nationwide that has demonstrated success in using previously awarded Brownfields Revolving Loan Funding grants to clean up and redevelop brownfield sites.
