Superintendent Arntzen Advocating Optional Mask Mandates For Public Schools

In: News Headlines

Superintendent of Public Instruction Elsie Arntzen says school districts should develop policies that make wearing face masks optional, according to a Cowles Media report. The state’s public university system is no longer requiring masks to be worn on campuses, but universities are still being asked to consult with local health officials before changing policies.

At a U.S. Senate hearing Tuesday, Senator Steve Daines rejected the proposition of new tax hikes that might be included in an infrastructure proposal. He stressed that before upgrading current broadband an infrastructure package should expand access in rural communities in Montana by making it easier for private companies to lay down fiber.
