The Business Roundtable’s new economic analysis has found increased investment in U.S. physical infrastructure would result in an additional $1,500 in disposable income for the average Montana household every year for 20 years. It would also create 4,000 new jobs in Montana. The analysis was prepared by the Interindustry Forecasting Project at the University of Maryland.

The recent 7th Give Big Gallatin Valley fundraiser generated record-breaking numbers raising almost $3 million for 210 nonprofit organizations. Executive Director of the One Valley Community Foundation Bridget Wilkinson says though money’s not the only reason they put on the annual event.
