Grizzly Euthanized after Attack

Fish Wildlife and Parks euthanized a female grizzly bear which had attacked a hiker west of Dupuyer late Wednesday. The incident happened late in the evening when the hike encountered a sow with a cub at close range and the sow attacked the hiker in the thigh. Neither the hiker’s identity nor the full extent of his injuries is being released at this time.
