Great Falls – Plea Agreement Reached in Animal Cruelty Case

George Savoy accused of aggravated animal cruelty for starving his cattle has reached a plea deal with the Cascade County Attorney’s Office in return for a deferred sentence under which he won’t be able to own cattle for six years. Cascade County seized a herd of 230 cattle after dead animals were seen from Mission Road between Cascade and Simms. More than 100 cows in the herd ended up dying.
