ZooMontana Works to Launch New Health Center Construction Amid Double National Award Nominations

ZooMontana in Billings, is Montana’s only accredited zoo and botanical park. Part of Zoo Montana’s Capital Campaign is the animal health center that will soon begin, Brand Manager Luke Ashmoore.

The Billings wildlife park is celebrating fresh national recognition after being nominated for two USA TODAY 10Best categories: Best Zoo and Best Zoo Membership. Zoo officials say the honor reflects years of investment in animal care and conservation, and they’re encouraging supporters to vote daily through March 9. Winners will be announced March 18, and ZooMontana hopes to climb even higher after earning a top‑ten spot just two years ago.

Industry leaders say mining supports nearly eighteen‑thousand five‑hundred Montana jobs and generates more than seven‑billion dollars in economic impact statewide.
