Attorney General Austin Knudsen is appealing a decision by Judge Michael Moses in the state Supreme Court. The Yellowstone County District Court Judge issued a preliminary injunction earlier this month that temporarily stops several laws from going into effect restricting abortion access. The order is in effect while a legal challenge is underway. In a lawsuit in August, Planned Parenthood argued the abortion laws passed in 2021 violate the Montana Constitution.
