Montana Ranks Lowest For Child Obesity Nationwide

A new report from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation finds Montana has the lowest child obesity rate in the nation. One in six youth across the United States or 16.2% are now considered obese with public health experts pointing to the COVID-19 pandemic and structural racism as driving factors in the rising rates. Kentucky has the highest child obesity rate in the nation.
