Starting this Wednesday, face masks will be required in every instructional space inside buildings at Montana Tech. Chancellor Les Cook released a statement earlier today saying the requirement includes every classroom or laboratory where an MTU course is taught and applies to all students, faculty, and staff. He added that the university has requested that everyone wear masks indoors since August 13 and while some have followed this request, many have not. Masks will be made available to those without one.
