President Joe Biden today announced a bipartisan agreement on a $953 billion framework for a nationwide infrastructure plan. It is the result of a negotiation held with five democratic and five republican senators that hopes to lead to future agreements on infrastructure spending. The new agreement will include $559 billion in new funding for transportation, power, water and broadband projects.
Montana’s Jon Tester was one of the senators involved in the negotiations and said, although he didn’t have many details on specific amounts and allocation at the moment, he does have a clear idea of how the funds will be used in the Treasure State.
