With May being Military Appreciation Month and the U.S. planning to withdraw all troops from Afghanistan this year, the personal-finance website Wallet Hub today released its report on 2021s best states for military retirees and Montana ranks 14th. Wallet Hub compared to the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 30 key indicators of retirement friendliness toward veterans. The data set ranges from job opportunities for veterans to housing affordability to quality of VA hospitals.
The City College at Montana State University Billings is the only institution in the state that offers a Process Plant Technology Program and it has begun incorporating virtual reality simulations to help teach students how to work on a water plant.
