Attorney General Tim Fox Asks Federal Communications Commission For Robocall Collaboration

Tuesday the Federal Communications Commission proposed a $225 million fine the largest ever against two health insurance telemarketers for spamming people with 1 billion robocalls using fake phone numbers. Attorney General Tim Fox and the State Attorneys General Working Group are encouraging the commission to facilitate continued collaboration among state attorneys general and telecom companies to coordinate tracing illegal robocalls to their source.
