Governor Bullock Announces Phase One Reopening of Montana

With a slowing in COVID-19 Cases, Governor Bullock announced his plan today to slowly reopen the state.

He admits the first step asks a lot from employers, including making special commendations for vulnerable employees, encouraging Telework wherever possible, and ensuring that ill employees are able to stay at home.

The phased-in approach will continue to limit Nursing Homes interaction and the non-business, non-resident, travel quarantine will remain in effect.

The stay at home order will be lifted on Sunday, still prohibiting gatherings larger than 10. Except with Churches able to accommodate social distancing

Starting Monday Main Street Business and Hairdressers can re-open with special precautions…

The following Monday…  Restaurants and Bars will be able to reopen at 75% capacity.

And Starting May 7th, the Governor will empower local school boards to make the decision on how to move forward.
