The Cascade County Treasurer’s Office will be open by appointment only beginning today to limit the spread of coronavirus and doors will be locked to walk-in traffic. Before the coronavirus pandemic hit Montana the state’s unemployment rate in February remained unchanged at 3.5% with about 800 jobs added over the month. The Unemployment rate has increased in the last several weeks because of public health and safety measures and their impacts will be evident in next month’s unemployment data.
