Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Efforts Successful In 2021

State wildlife officials consider 2021 a success in the effort to combat the threats of aquatic invaders. While the total number of mussel infected boats intercepted at Montana inspection stations reached a new high mark at 61 in 2021 there were no newly infected waterbodies in the state.
