Montana won’t switch over to a new statewide voter management system until a later date, Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen announced Monday. The move follows concerns by local elections officials that bugs in the new software could cause problems during the 2022 elections. Montana will continue to use MontanaVotes until a launch date is determined. Of the $3.5 million budgeted for the project $1.7 million has been spent.
