A late-season wildfire ripped through Denton burning 24 homes and four grain elevators and officials assessed the damage Thursday while crews continued to fight the West Wind Fire in Judith Basin and Fergus counties. Governor Greg Gianforte will receive an incident command briefing this morning at 11 and will also meet with local residents. Fergus County and the American Red Cross have set up an emergency shelter at the Lewistown Civic Center. Food and personal care donations are being accepted at the 4H Food booth at the Fairgrounds and pet food and clothing donations can be dropped off at the small animal barn next to the 4H Food Booth.
