At Monday’s Land Board meeting Superintendent of Public Instruction Elsie Arntzen accepted $47.7 million from the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation on behalf of public schools. This year’s check is an increase of $6 million from last year and works out to about $327 per student in the state’s public schools.
