Many Montanans will turn to road trips local travel and day trips this Labor Day weekend increasing the number of people behind the wheel but it’s important to make smart decisions as it is one of the top five most dangerous holidays in terms of DUI fatalities. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 36% of traffic fatalities in Montana involve a drunk driver. The national average is 28%.
