A trillion dollar infrastructure bill that passed the Senate Tuesday is expected to bring more than $3 billion in direct investment to Montana. It still faces a vote in the House but Democratic Senator Jon Tester part of a bipartisan group of 10 senators who crafted the bill was optimistic and issued this statement after it was passed.

19 Republican senators voted in favor of the bill but Senator Steve Daines was not among them. He explained why in a statement after the bill was passed.
