• Bat Walk: Friday, Aug. 6, 8:30 to 10 p.m.

Bring your flashlight and bug spray to Spring Meadow Lake for a Bat Walk to see and hear live bats and discover the answers to all your bat questions. The walk begins at the Montana WILD Gazebo (on the back lawn of MT WILD)

• Butterflies of Montana: Monday, Aug. 9, 2 to 4 p.m.

Join Montana Audubon as we search for (and catch and release) butterflies at Spring Meadow Lake State Park. Nets, field guides and other equipment will be provided, but participants can bring their own. Suited for ages 10 and up (families welcome). Limited to 10 participants.

• Wildlife Movie Night: Wednesday, Aug. 11, 6 to 7 p.m.

This movie night is great for young wildlife enthusiasts. We will watch “Catch Me if You Can,” a film that features the behaviors and learning of baby animals in Yellowstone National Park. Popcorn provided!

If you register by email, please include the number in your party, their ages and a phone number. Montana Wild is located at 2668 Broadwater Ave., just off U.S. Highway 12 West near Spring Meadow Lake State Park.
