More than $300 million was approved Wednesday for Montana water projects by members of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee from the U.S. Senate’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package. The St. Mary’s Milk River Project is set to receive $100 million of the funds. In addition there is $211 million for three potable water projects including the Fort Peck-Dry Prairie, Rocky Boy-North Central and the Musselshell-Judith rural water projects.
