A moist Pacific weather system is poised to make its way into Montana over the next few days bringing as much as two inches of badly needed moisture to large portions of the state that desperately need it. Farmers and ranchers all across Montana are anxiously looking to the skies hoping what has thus far been an unusually dry year will make a quick turnaround. The good news is that it almost certainly will at least in the short term.

Recently former Attorney General Tim Fox rescued a wounded male red-tailed hawk he named “Lucky” and took it to the Montana Raptor Conservation Center in Bozeman where they nursed it back to health and he was able to set it free. Fox gave a sizeable donation to the center and hopes others will too.
