The superintendent of Yellowstone National Park outlined efforts being made to replace and improve outdated housing for employees Thursday. Cameron Sholly said he has set a goal of getting rid of trailers in the park and replacing them with high-quality housing. The park is about halfway through that project.
The Anaconda School Board has voted unanimously to place Superintendent Justin Barnes on paid administrative leave after a prolonged session to a school board meeting this week. Barnes became superintendent of Anaconda schools in July 2018 but applied for a superintendent job in Alaska earlier this year. Audio from an interview for the position revealed him sharing lukewarm feelings about the town.
