The Kalispell Regional Medical Center has been selected to serve the region in the event of a drastic coronavirus case spike by the state’s COVID-19 Task Force. The alternative temporary facility will be built out on the vacant third floor of Montana Children’s Hospital. Funding for the project comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency with no cost to the hospital.
