A fundraising campaign hosted by the Whitefish Community Foundation and the Flathead Community foundation which ended Wednesday at noon generated $561,707 in just 28 hours. The money raised during the Day of Giving and Unity will go to 78 charities. Glacier Bank and First Interstate Bank supported the Day of Giving campaign by accepting donations at all of their bank drive-up windows.
