Native Americans in Montana face hurdles to voting in next month’s primary election. Among the challenges is the Ballot Interference Prevention Act a new law that bans ballot collection and due to COVID-19 all Montana counties are providing a vote by mail option. Marci McLean head of Western Native Voice says this presents a challenge to Native Americans on reservations the overwhelming majority of whom have their mail delivered to a post office box.
