This week Governor Steve Bullock classified Montana child care providers as essential workers. However that hasn’t prevented centers from closing. Child Care Connections is a network of child care centers that covers a six county region in Montana. At the beginning of March combined they had 186 licensed child care providers. Since then 118 have closed.
