With multiple businesses temporarily closing or laying off employees due to the coronavirus pandemic many Montanans are filing for unemployment benefits. The $2.2 trillion economic rescue package passed by the Senate Wednesday evening is expected to be approved today in the U.S. House and the President said he will sign it into law. That will mean $600 more a week in unemployment benefits than normally issued by the state.
