Browning – County Commissioners lay-off half of County Workforce

Glacier County commissioners temporarily laid off half of the county’s workforce Tuesday until May 31st citing budget problems and a dispute with the Indian Health Service as reasons. The employees will maintain medical benefits and will be eligible for unemployment benefits. The libraries in Browning and Cut Bank and the museum are closed until further notice and will undergo a deep clean.
