Washington DC – Senate passes Legislation to Benefit Veterans on GI Bill

The U.S. Senate passed a bill Monday evening which would allow veterans on the GI Bill to continue receiving full benefits as universities move classes online to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The Veterans’ Affairs Committee Ranking member Senator Jon Tester introduced the bipartisan bill with VA Committee Chairman Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas.
