United States Department Of Agriculture Issues Disaster Declaration For Seventeen Eastern Montana Counties

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a disaster declaration for 17 Montana counties in Eastern Montana through the Wildfire and Hurricane Indemnity Program Plus who faced quality loss drought and excessive moisture in 2019. It comes on the heels of legislation authored by the only farmer in the Senate Jon Tester who says there is more to be done.
