Senator Jon Tester’s First Bill In 2007 Passes The Senate And Little Shell Tribe To Get Recognition

Federal recognition of the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians passed the Senate Tuesday and is on its way to be signed by President Trump. It was the first bill Senator Jon Tester introduced as a Senator in 2007 and has reintroduced the same legislation in every Congress since.
