Opposition To Northwestern Energy’s Procurement Plan Due To More Fossil Fuel Use In The Mix

This week Northwestern Energy unveiled its 20 year procurement plan which includes its intention to run the Colstrip coal power plant through 2041 and build four natural gas plants. Mike Scott with the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign in Montana says relying on fossil fuels is a dangerous gamble for the plant in the future.
