Montana ranks 22nd in the Anne E. Casey Foundation’s Data Book measuring how states are providing for children. Leslie Boissierre with the Casey Foundation says public policy is critical to child well being. She points to the sharp drop in the teen birth rate and reduction in children who don’t have access to health care since 2010 both of which are on the decline in Montana.
