A new fish passage was recently completed to bypass the Intake Diversion Dam into the Lower Yellowstone River near Glendive. Project Manager for the Lower Yellowstone Irrigation Project James Brower said recently on Voices of Montana the new channel is already seeing positive results.

Invasive Fish Species Detected Near Yellowstone National Park
One smallmouth bass was caught and released in waters on the border of Yellowstone National Park in the confluence of the Gardener and Yellowstone rivers.
