With the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza continuing to spread across Montana turkey hunters are being warned the birds can carry and spread the virus without showing any symptoms. Fish Wildlife and Parks veterinarian Jennifer Ramsey has some tips for hunters this year.
State Officials Provide Update On Avian Influenza
Representatives from numerous state departments hosted a press call on Friday afternoon to provide an update on the status of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in the state. Dr. Marty Zaluski from the Department of Livestock on how long infections may continue in Montana.
