If 2020 Census Numbers Aren’t Accurate Montana’s Share Of Federal Funds Will Go To Other States

According to a George Washington University study more than 12% of personal income in Montana in 2017 came from federal programs that use census data. The study’s author Andrew Reamer notes that in the 2020 census if communities are under counted Montana will get less money and other states will be allocated more.
