Before COVID-19 Unemployment Numbers Stable

Before the coronavirus pandemic hit Montana the state’s unemployment rate in February remained unchanged at 3.5% with about 800 jobs added over the month. The Unemployment rate has increased in the last several weeks because of public health and safety measures and their impacts will be evident in next month’s unemployment data.

Great Falls – Primary Election by Mail Only Ballot

The June 2nd primary election in Cascade County will be held by a mail only ballot. The county employs 110 temporary election judges as required by law to assist on election-day at the certified polling locations. 82% of the electorate in Cascade County has already requested a mail ballot.
