Montana Trails Advisory Committee Holds Funding Recommnedation Metting
The Montana State Trails Advisory Committee will hold its Funding Recommendation meeting Thursday and Friday. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the meeting will be held via Zoom Video Conference. The Bitterroot National Forest’s second Good Neighbor Authority project has gotten the green light from Darby District Ranger Eric Winthers who signed off on the Buckhorn Project. SBA Reports Statewide Loan Numbers
The Small Business Administration issued state-level numbers Tuesday. Through Monday 10,372 Montana businesses had been approved for loans totaling $1 billion 293 million. The Paycheck Protection Program offers federally backed loans to cover SBA up to 8 weeks of payroll and related overhead.
Additional Funding to Increase Access to Affordable Housing
Another $3 million is coming to Montana to increase access to affordable housing across the state. The grant will help build and preserve the housing supply for low income Montanans distributed through the state and will be available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Housing Trust Fund.
U.S. DHHS Directs Millions to Child Care Providers in Montana
