Calling all Montana high school artists! Reach Higher Montana‘s annual Design-A-Sticker competition is here, offering a chance to win scholarships and boost your artistic resume. It’s 03/10/2026 get those creative juices flowing!
Express Yourself, Fund Your Future
This isn’t your typical scholarship application. Instead of essays and GPA requirements, this competition lets your creativity shine. The challenge? Design a sticker that encourages fellow students to explore their post-high school paths. “This is kind of one where you can be creative, and there’d be a lot of students who may not think that they’re scholarship material, but they have some talents that they could use to turn into scholarship dollars,” explains Communications Director Cullen Gilbreath.
Scholarship Dollars and Art Supplies Up for Grabs
Nine scholarships are up for grabs, ranging from $500 to $1,500. The prize breakdown is as follows:
- Two 1st Place: $1,500 scholarship
- Two 3rd & 4th Place: $1,000 scholarship
- Two 5th & 6th Place: $500 scholarship
- Three Judge’s Choice Awards: $500 scholarship
But the rewards don’t stop there! Reach Higher Montana will also donate $250 to the winning students’ high school art programs to purchase art supplies or equipment.

Winning this competition can be a significant addition to your college applications, particularly if you’re pursuing a creative field. According to Gilbreath, “to know that you’ve actually won competitions in art design and graphic design would be a big selling point for you.”
