KRAMBU Incorporated has unveiled plans for the world’s most sustainable Artificial Intelligence factory in Montana. White House unfreezes $1 billion for after-school summer programs

The Trump administration is releasing more than $1 billion in paused funding for after-school and summer learning programs. For Fiscal Year 2025 Montana was awarded $6,548,640 for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program which provide tutoring and childcare to students in high-poverty and low-performing schools.

Federal judge sanctions Cottonwood Law over ‘reckless’ water allegations against Big Sky

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Brian Morris has rejected allegations the Big Sky Water and Sewer District committed fraud during a 2022 Clean Water Act trial. He ordered the Bozeman-based environmental group Cottonwood Environmental Law Center that brought the claim to pay $7,500 in attorneys fees and restricted its ability to file future motions in the case.

Yellowstone National Park  is a popular tourist destination but there is a lot going on underneath that people never feel. A new analysis of 15 years of historical earthquake data from the Yellowstone caldera using AI shows 86,276 earthquakes from the 2008 to 2022 more than half part of earthquake swarms.

Montana to merge alcohol and cannabis regulators.

The Montana Department of Revenue will soon combine the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division and the  Cannabis Control Division describing the move as a streamlining measure as part of a broader change happening in state government agencies. The two small divisions each have significant overhead per capita and their work is very similar.

Whitefish’s climate committee is set to lobby the City Council this evening during a work session on creating a system that would charge visitors for parking downtown while the parking garage attached to City Hall would remain free for parking. The plan would use license plate scanners on city parking enforcement vehicles to verify who is a resident                                                  or worker and thus exempt from paying for parking.

Billings first presumed measles case has been tied to Cornerstone Community Church’s vacation bible school. Final preparations are underway for Helena’s third fire station adjacent to the city’s wastewater maintenance office and is expected to begin construction in December. Funding it is $7 million in bonds approved by voters in June 2024. The new station will have  an on-campus training area and expanded office space. Helena’s Fire Station number 3 is expected to be completed around June 2027.
